You have an appointment... Now What ?
On your first visit, you will be asked to give a brief history of your problem and the therapist will assess your condition in order to determine its cause and nature. Then your goals of treatment will be discussed. This will help the therapist to plan your individualized treatment program.
The therapist wants to make sure you are comfortable with the plan and your goals are being met.
We may also want to focus on preventing future physical problems and maintaining your current level of function; thus improving or maintaining your current quality of life.
To save time, you can print and complete the information form that is required for your file.
* now don't forget to bring it with you the day of the appointment.
What to wear?
Neck / Cervical Area: female patients can opt to wear a camisole or sports-bra type top.
Lower Back: shorts with an elastic waistband which allows access the area for examination and treatment.
Lower Limbs (ankles, knees, hips, etc): shorts are preferable.
Note: Don't worry if you forget, you
can always borrow our gowns or shorts
at the clinic.
